Founder & Principal
With nearly three decades at the forefront of urban rail systems design and delivery, BCM Ltd's founder and principal has built a reputation as one of the world's leading authorities on affordable streetcar and light rail infrastructure. An early advocate of hydrogen as an energy carrier in the transportation industry, he was the first to bring a hydrogen/electric rail vehicle to market.
A sought-after voice on the future of urban mobility, he has been invited to speak at prestigious forums including the New York Times Cities for Tomorrow conference — sharing BCM Ltd's vision for making street railways accessible and financially viable for cities of every size.
His work spans four continents, encompassing feasibility studies, system design, vehicle fabrication, track construction, and full commissioning. He founded BCM Ltd on the conviction that great urban rail need not come at an unaffordable price — and has spent his career proving it.

BCM Ltd's mission is to reduce streetcar infrastructure costs. Utilizing our extensive experience in design/build projects, we can realize substantial savings by using shallow track forms, including panelized track where possible, minimizing utilities relocation, and by eliminating the need for expensive distributed power systems by employing self-powered vehicles.
